ATTACK: Dan Seals claims on his Facebook page that Bob is being “investigated for potential voter fraud” by the Cook County State’s Attorney because Bob has always voted in the 10th District, according to his permanent residency, even when he lived temporarily in the City of Chicago.
FACT: Bob has always maintained his permanent residency in the 10th District. Bob and his wife’s decision to temporarily move to the city does not change his permanent residence.
FACT: The Daily Herald reported on 10.1.10 that “representatives of the clerk’s office and the state’s attorney’s office insist there is no investigation.”
Unlike Dan Seals who has never lived in the 10th District, Bob was a permanent resident in Winnetka until 2007, when he moved to his current home in Kenilworth. His deep roots in our community include running a business in Northfield that employs just under 100 people, attending church in Kenilworth, and serving for the past 11 years as Scoutmaster for Troop #13 in Kenilworth.
