Approximately 80 students at Glenbrook High School in Glenview joined Robert for a discussion on the $12.8 billion National Debt and its impact on America's future. Robert argued that the interest on the National debt will consume ever greater portions of the gross national deficit, leaving younger generations with higher taxes and fewer resources to make their own expenditures if our Nation's leaders do not change course quickly.
The Students asked Robert questions on a wide array of subjects, and Robert made a pitch for summer internships with his campaign. After the presentation, members of GBS's STAND club gave Robert a tour of a model refugee camp they constructed to help bring attention to the dire situation in Darfur.
