At the heart of the Latino community is a strong sense of family, a strong work ethic and a driving sense of entrepreneurship. Whether coming from Mexico, South or Central America, or island countries like Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic, America has held a promise of a better life for thousands of Latinos who live in the 10th District.
Job opportunity, education and immigration reform are three critical issues to the Latino community. As Congressman I will work with the Latino community to create jobs, grow our economy, and ensure our children have a safe and quality education. I am also committed to working in Congress to find solutions on immigration that will give those who genuinely desire to work hard, contribute to our economy and make a better life for their families the opportunity to do so.
