As Iran takes calculated steps to further antagonize Israel and the Western world, the U.S. must stand with Israel against a regime that has threatened to wipe Israel “off the map.” Iran’s decision to defy the U.N. Security Council by further pursuing uranium enrichment, in addition to directly threatening Israel and executing Iranians who speak out against the government, has generated justified international concern.
Republican Robert Dold, 10th District Congressional candidate, stands with Israel, and believes that the United States must do whatever it takes to defend our ally, including harsh sanctions and military force, if necessary.
“The United States must take strong actions to stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons,” Dold said. “A nuclear Iran is not just a threat to Israel – it is a threat to the United States, Europe and our allies around the globe.”
