Republican Robert Dold, a Congressional candidate in Illinois' 10th District, signed the Americans for Tax Reform Taxpayer Protection Pledge Monday. His signature on the pledge is a promise to oppose tax increases on families and businesses. Dold also proved he is fully committed to fighting for lower taxes for the people of Illinois last week by signing the National Taxpayers United of Illinois Tax Accountability Taxpayer Protection Pledge.
“I am proud to join Americans for Tax Reform in their fight for lower taxes for families and businesses in America,” Dold said. He continued, “I’m looking forward to going to Washington as Congressman representing the 10th District and making the government accountable for their reckless spending by lowering taxes, reducing the national debt and balancing the federal budget.
