Cook County Commissioner Tony Peraica Gives Dold His Vote of Confidence

Press Release, 1/10/10

Cook County Commissioner Tony Peraica endorsed Robert Dold, a Republican running for Congress in the 10th District, on Sunday at the Palatine Township Republican Organization. Peraica, a renowned conservative activist, chose to endorse Dold for his small business background and goals to bring small business common sense to Washington. Following the announcement of Peraica’s endorsement, the commissioner joined Dold on a precinct walk, where the two knocked on voters’ doors throughout the district.

Peraica said, “Robert Dold is the best choice for the 10th Congressional Race.  He has put together the strongest campaign in the 10th District and is the best candidate to defeat the democrats in November.  Dold brings a strong business background and is going to Congress to restrain reckless spending.  He has the chops to take on the corruption and special interests that have driven our country to fiscal catastrophe.”

He continued, “I am impressed by Robert Dold’s grassroots campaign and network of motivated volunteers. Dold and his volunteers are bringing new faces into Republican politics and are working hard to get out his message of fiscal conservatives, lower taxes and integrity.”
