Robert Dold introduced himself to the Russian Speaking community in the 10th District on Thursday, April 15th during an hour-long interview on Northbrook-based NVC Radio 1430AM. The host interviewed Robert about a number of issues including the complexity of the tax code, Robert's strong support for Israel and the recently passed health care legislation.
Robert's opponent in the primary election Dr. Arie Friedman called into the show to express his support for Robert and to talk about Robert's opposition to the Health care bill. Dr. Friedman encouraged listeners to register to vote and to show their support for Robert "because preserving our freedoms could come down to just one vote in Congress."
Dold noted that, "Many in the Russian speaking community get very concerned when they see the federal government take over large sectors of the private economy."
