Republican Robert Dold, Congressional candidate in Illinois’ 10th District, received the endorsement of Santa Claus. The announcement came yesterday as Dold was visiting Santa with his family at Macy's in downtown Chicago.
"I can't believe that Santa actually endorsed my Dad!" says Harper, Robert's 7-year old daughter. "I know that Dad has received all the endorsements given by Townships this year, but those people only give votes... Santa gives toys! I know this will be the best Christmas ever now!"
While Dold had no comment for his daughter, he did have this to say: "I am delighted to receive the support of Santa Claus, and I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a wonderful New Year."
