Robert Dold spoke and fielded questions from members of the Small Business Advocacy Council (SBAC). The SBAC is a non-partisan group founded by Elliot Richardson, one of the Democratic candidates for the 10th Congressional District this year.
Robert called for raising the cap on the amount of money our Nation’s Credit Union’s can loan to small businesses. He noted the credit-crunch is hitting small business particularly hard, and that allowing for more liquidity in the credit market is one important action that our Federal Government can do to get us out of this recession.
After the event, Robert said, “I am happy to see that Elliot Richardson is investing in our local business community, and I look forward to working with him, the SBAC membership, and anyone else that is serious about creating private sector jobs in our community.”
