Robert Dold met with thirty small business owners in Downtown Arlington Heights on Thursday April 29th for a small business symposium. The participants represented a diverse array of small-business interests including medical, environmental consulting, retail, community banking and food services. The format was free flow and Robert spent most of the time listening to the concerns of the assembled crown.
John Dyslin said “small business is the backbone of our country, and Bob is the only candidate I’ve heard in a while who gets that.” Robert said after the event, “I am hearing over and over again that the government is creating a lot of uncertainty, which is making it difficult for small business people to hire new employees and expand their operations.”
