Illinois congressional candidate Bob Dold (R) debuts a strong entry in the long-running history of political candidate jingles. And at the very least, it's catchy.
Playing off how closely his name sounds to a certain former presidential candidate, Dold wants you to know its "Dold with a D, not an E."
Best line: "Get that wax outta your ears; he's not from Kansas, he's from 'ere."
Dold is taking on state Rep. Beth Coulson and businessman Dick Green in a Feb. 2 primary in Rep. Mark Kirk's (R-Ill.) district. Kirk is running for Senate.
